Carnival

Echo had a good night last night. He slept from 1am to 6am, so I got five hours of uninterrupted sleep.

Our trip today was to the Stoughton Fair. Walking through the midway, we experienced the usual meet and greets with humans and dogs. The sights and sounds of the carnival rides drew his attention, but no fear, until we got to the pony ride. Echo didn't want anything to do with these behemoths.

The children's interactive area was somewhat better with the smaller/younger animals. The ducks were his favorite. We then tried the livestock barns. The first was the cows which were too big for Echo. He wasn't comfortable so we decided to try some more his size.

He managed to reluctantly walk through the goats and sheep. There was another dog in the hog barn which eased his fears and helped his confidence. After that Echo returned to the goats and had a successful journey through the cow barn. Half way through he met a black lab who made it even more enjoyable.

After the livestock, we stopped for a drink and a show. Inside the pavilion was a children's magic show. The most appealing part of that experience for Echo was the cool cement floor. He slept through the entire show, thankfully he wasn't snoring.
