Fireworks

Today is the most dreaded day of the year for most dog owners. Our first dog Barney would head for the basement or bathtub when hearing the first firecracker of the night and shake until morning. With this knowledge we faced the day with much trepidation. How would our young puppy handle the noise? Would Echo be scarred for life?

Echo was alarmed with the first "Bang" of the evening. However, we used our secret weapon. Buddy has never been phased by fireworks, so the three of us remained calm and tried to convey to Echo that there was nothing to be alarmed about. Echo felt our energy and we ended up taking a half hour walk during the peak of the neighborhood celebrations without incident.
