It was hot and humid today so we went for a late afternoon walk. Our hope was to get back before the storm hit. Buddy and I left at a hurried pace, racing the rain, watching the dark clouds moving closer. We met Echo and Lisa, who drove, at the park. At the half way point the wind picked up and the clouds moved faster. We lost our race with the rain as were drenched about a hundred yards from the car.
After dinner, Echo made his first trip to the grocery store. After an elongated pause to attempt to potty, finally success. In the store, he walked along well and sat on command to wait while we compared prices and checked out.
In transit to the drug store, we stopped for some cash. Echo was intrigued by the strange noises at the drive-up ATM. No barking or fear, just curious. The visit to the drugstore went well. We often hear people mention that you can't tough him so we may add a sign to Echo's vest that says "Please Ask to Pet Me".
Echo experienced a lot of new sights, smells, and noises along with meeting a few new people. Most importantly, NO ACCIDENTS.

Hi Lisa and Jeff,
This is Cheryl and Jake, we donated Echo. Echo seems so happy and experiencing so many different environments. We hope to see him soon, possibly at the Bowling event. We love to hear how he is doing, we miss him a lot.
