Echo was still recuperating from his extended play date last night. He slept away the day. He went downstairs to be by himself again, apparently so we wouldn't disturb him. It is cool on the tile floor.
After I got home from work it was time for Echo to work a little. A quick potty break and then off to the vegetable farm, Wal-Mart, and groceries. He behaved well in the stores and received positive feedback from everyone. Of course, they hadn't seen him on the way in stopping to check out every spot on the sidewalk and chasing anything that moved.
Echo has a high prey drive. Feathers flying around the parking lot continuously distracted him. He acts just like a puppy. The funny part was watching him try to DROP the feathers. He would open his mouth and the feathers would cling to his lips as he looked up with those sad eyes as if to say "I'm Trying".
On our long walk this evening, after watching the Dog Whisperer, we started working on DOWN commands. It looks like it's going to take awhile. Definitely won't be ready for the bowling event tomorrow.
